Tashawna Gill (she/her)
Michigan Lead Program Manager

Tashawna Gill is a native Michigander who believes that everyone has a talent and that the job of a good leader is to find that talent and nurture it. Tashawna entered the Michigan political landscape in 2013 and since then has helped to elect the youngest city councilman and the youngest state legislator in the United States (among many other amazing political feats).

In addition to her organizing work, she has created many powerful organizations that help to change the scope of elections such as United Precinct Delegates, Women for Michigan United, The New Black Progressives, and The African American Crisis Coalition.
